Protecting our children from the devil's trap

Victoria “Tori” Stafford disappeared on April 8th while walking home from school, which, I understand, is just a few minutes walk to her home. Victoria was last seen in a surveillance video walking with a woman away from her school, (like an animal being taken away to be slaughtered).

When I first heard it on the news I was hoping for a happy end to this tragic story and that she would be found alive, but after a week or two went by, and judging from the outcome of past disappearances of little children across Canada, I began to lose hope.

After 42 days, 28-year-old Michael Rafferty and Terri-Lynne McClintic were arrested in the case.

I cannot imagine what satisfaction anyone can get from taking the life of a child. When a person can use an innocent child for their own sexual gratification, you know that person is being controlled by the devil. We’re living in a very sick and evil world.

I heard someone said on a radio station that parents should give their children a password so that if anyone comes to pick them up from school, the child should ask the person for the password. That’s a lot of pressure to put on children, to expect them to remember a password. Can a child of 5 or 6 remember a password? Parents need to be praying for the safety of their children.

Ecc. 9:3 - Show Context - This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead.

Mt 5:21 - Show Context - You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.'

Nu 35:21 - Show Context - … or if in hostility he hits him with his fist so that he dies, that person shall be put to death; he is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

I think this song "Held" by Natalie Grant fits this situation. Click on the link below to listen YouTube - Natalie grant held
